HFMA Hawaii Chapter Sponsorship Program
Chapter Year June 2009 to May 2010
HFMA Hawaii Chapter Purpose: To help members and other finance-related healthcare professionals excel thereby improving the business performance of organizations operating in or serving the healthcare industry. This is primarily done by hosting educational events in Hawaii.
The HFMA Hawaii Chapter is under the national HFMA, which is a 501(c)(6) corporation.
Purpose of Sponsorships: Sponsorships allow the Chapter to conduct educational seminars and conferences at affordable rates to members by defraying the costs of these events. Sponsoring organizations benefit through marketing exposure to members and their employers.
Sponsorship Category Selection: Organizations may select a General Sponsorship or Individual Event Sponsorship(s) and will receive the respective sponsor benefits. Organizations may also choose to sponsor several Individual Event Sponsorships and, based on the total value, may be eligible to receive additional sponsor benefits. For example, if an organization selects a General Sponsorship of $2,500, they will receive the benefits at the Ali`i level. However, if an organization selects to sponsor multiple individual events and the total value of those individual sponsorships equal $2,500, they will receive the stated benefits of those individual events plus the stated benefits at the Ali`i level.
General Sponsorship Categories and Benefits, and Individual Event Sponsorship Opportunities and Benefits, are listed below.
Please complete the HFMA Sponsorship Registration Form and submit it as soon as possible. The earlier you complete the sponsorship registration process the sooner you will begin to reap its benefits. Registrations for Individual Event Sponsorships will be confirmed on a first-come first-served basis when registration forms and sponsorship monies are received.
Sponsorship Value: Sponsoring organizations benefit through marketing exposure to members and their employers. Sponsorships may be cash or in-kind. In-kind sponsorships are non-cash or indirect contributions such as directly paying for speaker expenses or providing door prizes for Chapter events. The Chapter reserves the right to use cash contributions in a manner of its choosing. However, all contributions shall be used to further the purpose of the Chapter to help members excel in their healthcare profession. The Chapter reserves the right to determine the value of in-kind sponsorships.
All benefits to sponsors are provided according to the level of contribution made during the Chapter year only (June 2008 to May 2009).
